a unique “traveling” culinary event stretching across ka pae `āina o Hawai`i
The Traveling Plate, a statewide culinary tour, celebrates the Easter Seals legacy in the Hawaiian Islands.
The culinary world has always played a great role in helping to raise awareness and funds for Easter Seals Hawaii through events such as the popular “Taste of Honolulu” and “Chefs Du Jour.” In keeping with this great tradition and as a fresh way to continue that legacy, Easter Seals Hawaii is honored to continue a series of unique “traveling” culinary events stretching across our island chain (ka pae `āina o Hawai`i).
Events on Maui, Kaua‘i, Hawaii and O‘ahu begin in the summer of 2017 and will exclusively feature local celebrity chefs and the use of locally sourced ingredients. The goal is to raise awareness and much needed funds for Easter Seals programs and services.
“The Traveling Plate is a contemporary extension of Easter Seals Hawaii’s decades old tradition of connecting food and fun with awareness of our mission to empower people with disabilities and special needs. Top chefs share their culinary creations and Aloha in support of our efforts to serve the community. Join us at the event nearest you for an evening to remember and the satisfaction that you, too, are helping to make a difference,” Ron Brandvold, President & CEO, ESH
Easter Seals Hawai‘i empowers people with disabilities or special needs to achieve their goals and live independent, fulfilling lives.
